OCEAN SPRINGS — Visiting St. Martin dropped Ocean Springs 15-4 in Region 4-7A prep softball play Thursday night.

The Lady Yellow Jackets collected 16 hits in the winning effort, and scored multiple runs in five innings and at least one run in six of the seven stanzas as well.

Kiyara Lee tallied a game-high four hits and drove in a game-high three runs as well for SMHS, while Miranda Ladner added two hits including a home run and drove in three runs as well. Alivia Allen had a triple and joined both Lee and Ladner with a game-high three RBIs, while Miriam Adams had two hits including a double and drove in two runs also. Maggie Renfrow added two hits, including an RBI-double, while Natalie Shoemaker had two hits as well.

Ladnier went the distance in the circle to pick up the pitching win for SMHS.

K’Lee Gum had two hits and drove in two runs for OSHS, while Addison Johnson added three hits for the Lady Greyhounds. Taylor Fara added a pair of doubles and drove in a run, while Gracie McDonald cracked a solo home run for OSHS.

Kylie Untisz worked just over six stanzas in the circle to take the loss.

St. Martin moved to 9-6 overall with the win while OSHS dropped to 9-8 overall with the loss.
