OCEAN SPRINGS — The first game of the 2026 portion of the basketball schedule for the Biloxi girls was pretty similar to the first 16 that tipped off the current campaign in the 2025 part.
The powerful Lady Indians marched into Hubbard Gym here on the campus of Ocean Springs High and dismantled the home-standing Lady Greyhounds 49-14 in Region 4-7A play Tuesday night.

The game was never in doubt, as the visitors jumped out to a quick and commanding 22-2 lead after the first period with 10 of those points coming inside from Prep All-American junior Dandy Dozen center Zaniya Johnson.
The 6-foot-5 standout Johnson ended up with 21 points to lead Biloxi, while Aubrey Madden had seven points for the Lady Indians.
Starr Jackson had nine points for OSHS.
