WIGGINS — East Central and Stone hooked up in an exciting Region 4-5A girls game Tuesday night.
And the visiting Lady Hornets pulled out a close 35-32 win in overtime over the Lady ‘Cats.
East Central’s Taliyah Nicolls produced the only points in the extra session, as he 3-pointer provided the game-winning points for the Lady Hornets. East Central moved to 4-8 overall and 1-1 in league play with the decision, while Stone dropped to 0-16 on the season and 0-2 in the region race.

East Central got a game-high 16 points from Makayla Thornton in the game, thanks in large part to a trio of 3-pointers. Allie Loper added 10 points to the winning cause for the Lady Hornets.
Kaedyn Myers led the Lady Tomcats with 12 points, while Kornea Turmon added 10 points for Stone.
East Central is right back in action in region play Thursday night, hosting Purvis.
