“It’s always a privilege to be recognized by your fellow coaches throughout the state,” Thompson said Thursday night. ” The event is a great for all the kids involved, and Mississippi Basketball. One thing I’ve loved about this event in the past is being able to meet and work with other kids and coaches from all over the State. Just like any other recognition for coaches though, I get this honor because of the kids I get to coach everyday. My kids are the only reason I’ve had any success at all. With them recognizing me…it’s really just a reflection of our program.”
