BAY ST. LOUIS — Eleven prep soccer squads from the “Southern Six” will compete for South State championships in four different classifications this week.
And four of those match-ups will be all “Southern Six” affairs as well, two on the boys’ playing field and a pair on the girls’ pitch.
Two of those featured matches will take place here in Bay St. Louis. All games are set for Tuesday at this point.
The home-standing Bay High Tigers will take on longtime rival Pass Christian in the boys’ Class 4A South State championship, while in Class I St. Patrick will host OLA in girls’ action at 3 p.m. Also, Sacred Heart travels to St. Stanislaus for the Class I boys’ match-up
In other action, in Class 7A the Gulfport Admirals are the only Coast team left as they will head to Northwest Rankin, while in boys’ Class 6A play George County will host Long Beach in another all “Southern Six” encounter.
On the girls’ side of things, Long Beach will host George County and Bay high travels to Sumrall.
