Picayune, East Central and Harrison Central all picked up wins Tuesday night in action on the diamond in the “Southern Six”.
While Biloxi got things started with a win on Monday.
The Hornets went into West Harrison and blew past the Hurricanes 8-0.
Jaxon Cripps had a pair of doubles for ECHS in the winning effort, while Gaines Huff also had a double and a single and he drove in a game-high three runs for the Hornets. Blake Hayes also posted a two-run double.
Tyler Tanner started a picked up his second win of the season on the mound, as a trio of Hornet hurlers combined to scatter just two Hurricane hits. East Central is now 2-1.

One of those hits for WHHS was a double by Jordan Stapleton.
Landen Wallace took the loss for the Hurricanes, who fell to 0-2 with the loss.
The same two teams meet Friday in Hurley.
Meanwhile, in Long Beach on Tuesday night, Harrison Central clipped the home-standing Bearcats 10-3 to move to 3-1 with its third straight win all coming on the road.
“We come to work everyday whether it’s in a parking lot, our building, the football field…wherever,” HCHS head coach Neil Frederic said. “We have great senior leadership. Our job is to Control what we can control.”
Tri Gaughf led the Red Rebel 14-hit winning offensive attack with three hits, including a double and a triple, and he drove in a run while Jaden Tayor added a pair of doubles and drove in a pair of runs as well for HCHS. Tre Hanshaw also had a pair of hits and two RBI’s, while Zachary Doorley and Gabe Colon each collected a pair of hits apiece as well for the Red Rebels.

Gaughf also picked up the win on the hill, working three frames while striking out seven and allowing just one hit. A quartet of Red Rebel hurlers held the Bearcats to just three hits.
Colin Lyons, Flynn James and Landon Moreaux all drove in a run apiece for the Bearcats.
Noah Williams took the loss for LBHS.
The same two teams face off Thursday night at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

In Gautier on Tuesday, the Maroon Tide thumped the Gators 18-3 in five frames.
Jamie Lumpkin led off the game with a triple off the wall in right-centerfield for Picayune, as the Maroon Tide rolled to the win.
Cooper Moreaux and Kyler King paced Picayune at the plate with three hits apiece and King drove in a game-high five RBI’s.
Lumpkin ended the night with two hits, along with Morgan Craft.
Braxten Carter earned the win on the hill.
In Biloxi on Monday, the home-standing Indians moved to 3-0 with an 11-9 win over Germantown.
Forrest Wold wielded the big stick for BHS in the win, cracking a pair of doubles and driving in a game-high four runs while Will Parker had a two-run double for the Indians as well. Tristan Haynes posted a game-high three hits, and Chase Delaughter added a pair of hits as well to the winning effort.
Shawn Miguel Gollott picked up the pitching win, when Biloxi scored five runs in the sixth stanza to overcome a 7-6 deficit and take the lead for good.
