Bay High completed a two game sweep of Moss Point in Region 8-4A play Friday night 10-2 to clinch a state playoff berth.
Now, the Tigers go into the final week of league acton with their sights set on the top seed.
Bay High faces longtime rival Pass Christian starting Tuesday night with a lot riding for both teams on the two game, home and home affair.
The Tigers moved to 4-2 in the region race with a 10-2 win over Moss Point Friday to wrap up that series.

Walker Seymour had two hits, including a double, and drove in a pair of runs in the win, while Joel Ulrich added two hits as well and Maddux Mayo also drove in a pair of runs.
Gabe Edkins picked up the pitching win.
Kevon Ford had two hits, including a run-scoring double for Moss Point, while Aiden Evans had two hits for that band of Tigers also.
Ford took the loss on the hill, as MPHS dropped to 0-6 in league play.
Also on Friday in Region 8-4A action, Greene County dropped Poplarville to a final 6-2 worksheet in the region race with a 4-3 win over the Hornets.
Greene County, which faces Moss Point twice this week, sits 3-3 in the loop. The Hornets are done with region play and will face St. Stanislaus in a two game, home and home series this week.

On Saturday, following the Friday win over Moss Point, Bay High headed to Oak Grove and dropped a 5-4 decision to the perennial state power Warriors.
Oak Grove’s Eric Booth,Jr., drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh to provide the game-winning run.
The Tigers managed just a pair of hits in the loss, despite scoring four runs. Braden Necaise had an RBI double for Bay High, and Mayo also drove in a run.
Jackson Haden, in relief of Luke Skinner, picked up the win for the Warriors while Brennan Billich took the loss for Bay High.
