BILOXI — Neither Pascagoula of Biloxi are enjoying stellar seasons on the softball diamond this year, but the Lady Indians did pick up another win on Monday night.
Home-standing Biloxi toppled the Lady Panthers 10-6 at The Biloxi Sports Complex in non-region action. The win moved the Lady Indians to 4-11 overall on the season, while Pascagoula drops to 5-9. Both teams are still fighting for a spot in the state playoffs in their respective classifications as each are still in search of their first region wins.

Aubrey Atchison posted an RBI-triple for Biloxi, while Imani Shannon registered a three-run double and Nia Shannon had an RBI-double also in the winning effort. Erin Hill added two hits and drove in a game-high three runs for the Lady Indians, while both Kylie McKay and Aubrie Hill each had two hits apiece in the 11-hit attack.
McKay started and hurled five frames to pick up the win on the mound.
Dextiny Combs smashed a two-run home run for Pascagoula in the loss, while Keara Millender had a pair of hits including a double and also drove in two runs in the game.
The win helped Biloxi earn a little revenge over Pascagoula after the Lady Panthers rallied for an exciting 12-10 win at home five weeks ago after scoring three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to overcome a 10-9 deficit and pull out the win.

In that game, Millender had a triple for PHS while Anneleese Rabon and Dayanara Lopez each added a double in the win.
Gabbie Billings and Amarie Meredith each had a double for Biloxi in the loss.
Biloxi returns to Region 4-7A play traveling to St. Martin Tuesday night, as does Pascagoula in Region 4-6A action as the Lady Panthers head to West Harrison.
On Monday night, Biloxi was coming off an 8-3 loss to league-leading D’Iberville late last week.
Madelyn Porter and Piper Rushing each had a double apiece in the win for the Lady Warriors, while Rushing drove in a game-high three RBIs.
McKay had two hits for Biloxi.

Emma Franklin went the complete game distance on the hill for D’Iberville to earn the win, as the Lady Warriors improved to a perfect 5-0 in the region race and Biloxi dropped to 0-5. Ocean Springs sits in second place in the league standings at 4-1, while Gulfport stands 5-2 and in the third spot. Harrison Central is in the fourth spot at 1-3 and St. Martin is at 1-4.
