The prep football season came to an end for a trio of “Southern Six” squads on the road Friday night in the opening round of the state playoffs.
In Class 4A, Pass Christian fell to Northeast Jones 31-14.
Also in Class 4A, Forest thumped Bay High 49-7.
And, in Class 3A, Noxubee County smacked St. Stanislaus 42-3.
