CLINTON — New region realignments were announced for the 2025-2027 school years by the Mississippi High School Activities Association Tuesday night.
The biggest headlines about region realignment in the “Southern Six” were that George County and Poplarville went back North, Pearl River Central came back south, and Forrest County AHS went back south for the first time in a while as did Purvis and Northeast Jones and new MHSAA member Presbyterian Christian will be in a league down this way as well.
And also that Harrison Central was allowed to stay in the Gulf Coast loop and not send north for the first time ever.


Here are the new region alignments that will go into effect before the 2025 school year begins:
