ST. MARTIN — The D’Iberville boys basketball team is off to an impressive 10-1 start to the new season after two wins in two days in the Dina Holland Thanksgiving Tournament at St. Martin High.
The Warriors have gotten the Eric Vianney era off to a fast and successful start on the young campaign, as the ten wins have already matched the number of victories achieved by DHS last season when it finished 10-18 and missed the state playoffs.

Vianney left his alma mater Picayune earlier this year to take over the helm of the Warriors after Robin Sikes headed down the Coast to Pas Christian.
Vianney had a successful six season run at the helm of the Maroon Tide. Vianney led the Maroon Tide to two straight trips to Jackson for the overall Class 5A state Final Four before just coming up short on a return trip to The Big House last season. The Maroon Tide are coming off of four straight 20 win seasons, and played for the 2023 state title falling to Hattiesburg. Picayune finished 23-9 last season.
