BILOXI — The Biloxi boys are on their second five-game win streak of the season after they defeated Hancock 74-31 on Tuesday, taking control early and leading from the first point and never trailing.

The win improves Biloxi’s record to 11-2, and Hancock’s record moves to 6-8.

Reggie Magee opened the game’s scoring with a 3-pointer, following a Hancock turnover on a charge. Jude Ulrich sank two free throws to put the Hawks on the scoreboard for their first points to pull within one of the Indians at 3-2, and that was as close as the game would get.

The Indians led 13-6 after one quarter of play, and they would outscore the visitors 26-13 in the second quarter to increase their lead to 39-19 at halftime.

“We’re trying to find our stride,” said Biloxi coach Seber Windham. “I think we’re getting there, step by step. We’ve got a lot of depth this year that we didn’t have last year. That’s going to pay off in the district and the playoffs. Hopefully we can keep it going.”
