The Rocks (9-5, 1-0) outscored the Blue Devils 22-12 in the fourth period as SSC ran away with the game in the final period.

PRC head coach Scott Stephens commented, “Saint Stanislaus is a very strong defensive team and they defended very well today. Their defense put us in positions to take care of the ball and we did not do that very well. With our division schedule coming up in January, we have to find a way to protect the ball, know where we want to go with it, and go do it.”

The Blue Devils were led by JJ Feaster with 11 points and Konnor Cazenave with 10 points.

SSC head coach Daniel Grieves stated, “PRC always has a set for every situation and we knew that they would be a well-coached team coming into the game. They are in every game they play because of their preparation. We told the players that basketball is a game of runs and we need to make sure that our runs last longer than the opponent. We called a timeout at the start of the fourth period to remind them of that. We are at the same win total we were last year at this time. What we have done up to this point means nothing. We have a strong division schedule coming up and we need to focus on one game at a time.”

The Rocks were led by Carter Macias with 15 points followed by Max Baria with 14 points and 7 blocks, and Jason Forte with 12 points.
