The next “Southern Six” Senior Spotlight sponsored by Reese’s of the school year is Pascagoula’s Khyliah Moore.
Each week throughout the school year, we here at SouthMiss6 Sports will highlight a senior student/athlete in the “Southern Six” to honor.
Moore was a steady, veteran presence all season long for the Lady Panthers as one of the leading scorers and top play-makers all year long.

In her final game wearing a Lady Panther uniform, Moore poured in a game-high 19 points in her final outing for Pascagoula in a 58-33 loss to powerful West Jones on the road Thursday in the opening round of the Class 6A South State playoffs.
Pascagoula wrapped up the season with three straight losses and at 14-14 overall. But Moore did all she could to keep her senior season alive as she came alive in the second stanza with PHS trailing 19-10 and scored nine of her teams 11 points to keep the Lady Panthers within striking distance.

The 5-foot-6 guard finished the regular season off with a career-high 32-point performance in a big Region 4-6A win over West Harrison on Feb 1st in a 60-43 decision. It marked one of the biggest wins of the season for PHS.
She also out-scored the entire George County team in a league game two weeks prior, as she tallied a game-high 17 points in a 61-16 win over the Lady Rebels.
She earned All-Region 4-6A honors for her play this season as well.
