Also in the Class 5A South State opening round, Gautier will now travel to Brookhaven on Monday night in a game postponed from Saturday night.
In Class 6A, both Pascagoula and West Harrison are at home for Saturday night showdowns as the Panthers host Pearl River Central and the Hurricanes host Jackson Jim Hill.
Also, Hancock heads to Hattiesburg Friday night while George County’s trip to Terry had been delayed from Saturday to Monday night.

And, in Class 7A, both Gulfport and Biloxi’s opening round home games were postponed until Monday night, as the Indians will take on Northwest Rankin at 6 p.m., and the Admirals will host defending Class 7A state champion Meridian at 7 p.m., at Bert Jenkins Gym.
The rest of the Class 7A South State play will take place on Saturday afternoon as Ocean Springs plays at Brandon at 4 p.m., and St. Martin meets home-standing Northwest Rankin at 2 p.m.
