George County followed the shutout pitching of Peyton Collins to the win, as she went the distance scattering four hits while striking out four and walking two in earning the win.
Collins, who tossed a shortened four frame perfect game in a 10-0 region win over West Harrison last week, got all the support she would need from her teammates in the third frame against the Lady Bearcats with a two out rally.

Blakely Slay singled home both Aryana Dixon and Braylee Bishop. Slay then stole home, and Jordyn Bradley scored on a ground ball off the bat of Kyleigh Howell that the Long Beach infield misplayed into an error.
Collins made that lead stand up the rest of the way.
Dixon had a pair of hits to lead the Lady Rebels at the plate, while Slay had those two key RBIs.
Kindall Stullenberger had two hits to lead Long Beach, while Addison Herodes registered a double.
Herodes went the distance and took the hard luck loss. Long Beach fell to 1-5 in the region race with its fourth straight league loss.
The two teams are back at it again Thursday night in Long Beach.
