HATTIESBURG — On Saturday, the final day of another prep softball season in the state of Mississippi, George County joined East Central as state championship winners in 2025.

The two “Southern Six” squads brought the count to five state crowns captured by teams representing the South Side this season.

2025 MHSAA Fast-Pitch Softball State Champions

Class 7A — NW Rankin

Class 6A — George County

Class 5A — East Central

Class 4A — Itawamba AHS

Class 3A — Enterprise-Clarke

Class 2A — East Union

Class 1A —Stringer

Here is the up-to-date and final MHSAA Fast-Pitch Softball state championship schedule and results. All games were played at the Southern Miss Softball Complex in Hattiesburg.
