PEARL — Both St. Patrick and St. Stanislaus each placed one player apiece on the Class A First Team All-State team, which was recently announced by The Mississippi Association of Coaches.

Fighting Irish senior standout Jacob Alexander and Rock-A-Chaw junior stalwart Wiley Mossy were both honored by the MAC members with spots on the First Team. Alexander led St. Patrick to am 18-13 record and a second round spot in the Class 3A South State playoffs while Mossy helped guide SSC to a 21-12 mark and a third round berth in the Class 3A South State playoffs.

Tate Murphy of St. Stanislaus was named Class 3A All-State Second Team.
