BRANDON — A total of eighteen “Southern Six’ soccer standouts will be in action Tuesday night here at the annual Randy West MAC All-Star Soccer games.
The annual affairs, there will be both a boy’s and girls’ contest, are a part of the Mississippi Association of Coaches Multi Sports Clinic which kicked off Monday.
The girl’s game is up first and is set for 6 p.m., here at Brandon High School. Nine “Southern Six” stalwarts from seven separate schools will suit up for the South squad as they take on the North Team.

The Biloxi duo of Claire Byers and Avery Lofton along with the St. Martin combo of Taylor Hartzler and Brionne Sanders will be in action, as well Maggie Estes of Gulfport, Isabella Jordan of St. Patrick, Josephine Lagrone of Ocean Springs,. Hancock’s Juri Meagher and Kailey Taylor of Pass Christian round out the local contingency.
The South girls are coached by Biloxi head coach Todd Moniz and his Lady Indian assistant Peyton Harvey.
The boys are slated to take the field immediately following the girl’s game at 7:30 p.m., here at Bulldog Stadium and nine more “Southern Six” standouts will suit up for the South squad.
Gulfport, Ocean Springs and George County each have two players apiece in the annual affair, as Ryan Boles and Trey Ruiz represent the Admirals, Brody Tanner and Sam Rogers the Rebels and Owen Hughes and Cooper Lott the Greyhounds. Brayden Peppermen of Bay High, Gage Anderson of St. Patrick and Oliver Everson of Gautier also are all slated to see action in the game.

Jordan Lea of Lloyd Star is the head coach.
The two soccer games are the first of three all-star games that will be played as part of the annual clinic, as the Mississippi Association of Coaches All-Star Volleyball game will take place Wednesday at 6 p.m., also here at Brandon High School.
