PASCAGOULA — For the first time in 12 years, all Resurrection football games this season will take place in Pascagoula.
The Eagles have only four home games scheduled after a recent change in the slate, and all four will take place at War Memorial Stadium. For the past 12 seasons, RCS has also utilized Vaughan-Wallace Stadium in Gautier for quite a few games as well.
RCS head coach Eric Denmark confirmed the schedule with SouthMiss6 Sports Friday afternoon. The last time all RCS games were in Pascagoula was the 2013 season.
The Eagles will open the season on the road in Clarkdale on Friday, Aug. 29th before returning home in week two to host Christian Collegiate Academy on Sept. 5th for the home opener for the Eagles. RCS will also host Sacred Heart (Sept. 19th), St. Patrick (Sept. 26th) and Stringer this season (OCT. 30th).

The CCA Bulldogs out of Gulfport are playing their first season of 11-man football and will compete in The Midsouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), or private school group. The MAIS is a consortium of schools in Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana and Arkansas.
In week three, RCS travels to Amite County. The games with both CCA and Amite will mark the first time ever RCS has played either school on the gridiron.
Resurrection’s game against St. Patrick will serve as Homecoming for the Eagles. The regular season finale, on Thursday, Oct. 30th, against Stringer, is on a Thursday night.
