GULFPORT — West Harrison is off to a 3-0 start for the second time in four seasons, and just for the second time as well in program history.
The home-standing Hurricanes thumped Gautier 47-17 Friday night, dropping the Gators to 1-2 and moving to 3-0 at the same time.
Jordan Stapleton ran for three touchdowns for West Harrison in the first half, and Austin McInnis and Sean Fairley also added scoring runs in the winning effort.
Kenyan Walker had a scoring run for Gautier, and Gator quarterback Keon McNeil hit Devon Garrett on a touchdown toss as well.
Gautier falls to 1-2 for the second time in three seasons.

D’Iberville 49, Seminary 21
The Warriors moved to a perfect 3-0 on the season with a big win on the road over the Bulldogs Friday night.
D’Iberville quarterback Jordan Walley and Warrior running back Chan Harvey each accounted for three touchdowns apiece in the win.

Walley completed eight of nine passes for 187 yards and one touchdown

Christian Butler and Malakai Knight also picked up rushing touchdowns for DHS.

Forrest County AHS 21, Vancleave 19
The Bulldogs dropped to 0-3 and the Aggies improved to 3-0 with the decision Friday night in Brooklyn.
The loss overshadowed an impressive performance by Vancleave senior standout tailback Kyle Capers, who had 27 carries for 118 yards and all three VHS touchdowns. He also had three receptions for 57 yards, giving him 175 yards of total offense.

Bulldog quarterback Wyatt Adams saw hiss first action of the season and went 12-for-15 for 189 passing yards.
Forrest County AHS would get a 64-yard punt return from Cleveland Thompson as well as a 4-yard scoring dash from him as well. Tristan Robinson returned a fumble 10-yards for a scoop and score also in the winning effort.
