A new weekly feature debuts here at SouthMiss6 Sports this year with “Field Level”.

“Field Level” will be a new addition to our weekly prep sports coverage line-up, when we look at “7 Super Shots in the Southern 6” from the action behind the lens on the playing fields from the previous week in a compilation of images from our award-winning staff of photo/journalists they captured recently.

Let’s get shooting:

First up, in Picayune, our Chief Photographer Bobby McDuffie grabbed this shot during the big Game of the Week showdown between Ocean Springs and Picayune.

Next, our Steve Coleman was right in the thick of the action at D.I. Patrick Stadium in Hattiesburg as the Tigers took down Biloxi.

Not to be outdone, our Destiny DeBuysere rolled into “The Hive” and rolled out with this web gem as St. Martin shutout Hancock.

Our Jacob Brumfield showed up and showed out in Carriere with this shot at the PRC-Poplarville game.

Plus, our Jesse Johnson snapped this image at the D’Iberville vs. Pascagoula contest.

And, our Tim Isbell nabbed this hot shot as Gautier thumped Moss Point.

IN ADDITION, most of our photo/journalists aren’t just out and about covering prep football on Friday nights, but they make a quick transition over to the collegiate sidelines on Saturdays as well. Almost every one of our staff photogs are credentialed to shoot D1 football all across the southeast.

Here, Bobby McDuffie snapped this image Saturday night in Mobile at the South Alabama-Coastal Carolina game.
