BAY ST. LOUIS — The next “Southern Six Senior Spotlight” sponsored by Burnham Drugs of the school year is Myah Favre of OLA.

Each week of the school year, we here at SouthMiss6 Sports along with Burnham Drugs will highlight a deserving senior student/athlete in the “Southern Six”.

The senior volleyball standout Favre has helped guide the Crescents to three straight Class 3A state championships and she and her teammates have their sights set squarely on a fourth consecutive title. For he play, Favre repeated this week as “Class 3A Miss Volleyball” in the state of Mississippi as recognized by The Mississippi High School Activities Association.

As good as she has been over the past three seasons for OLA, Favre has turned her game up a notch her senior season as she has recorded Favre career highs with 574 kills, 214 digs, 64 total (40 solo) blocks and 70 aces in leading the Crescents to a 37-4 record and a spot yet again in the Class 3A South State championship match.

OLA travels to Union Monday night with a trip to the Class 3A state championship match on the line.

All seven 2025 C Spire Miss Volleyball winners will be recognized during the MHSAA Volleyball State Championships (presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi), in Clinton at A.E. Wood Coliseum on the campus of Mississippi College on October 16-17. The winner for each classification will be recognized during pregame ceremonies of each championship game. The full schedule of championship matches follows. Recipients will also be honored at a special awards luncheon, which will also be live streamed on the NFHS Network, in the MHSAA Conference Center on Thursday, October 23.
