BRANDON — Winning the Class 7A South State championship last year felt so good that Ocean Springs decided to do it again.

The Lady Greyhounds bounced Brandon 3-1 (27-25, 25-22, 21-25, 26-24) in exciting fashion Monday night to retain their title and once again punch their ticket to the overall Class 7A state title match.

The Lady Jaguars outlasted defending state champion Lewisburg 3-2 Monday night in the Class 7A North State championship match-up.
