BAY ST. LOUIS — A pair of young quarterbacks in the “Southern Six” share the “Baria Law Firm Game Ball of the Week” as presented by SouthMiss6 Sports this week.

Pearl River Central’s Titus Feaster and Gautier’s Keon McNeil each are honored this time out.

Every week throughout the end of the school year, we will honor student/athletes across the “Southern Six” with our “Game Ball of the Week” sponsored by David Baria, Attorney-Mediator.

Feaster, a sophomore standout signal-caller, completed 18 of 20 passes for 448 yards and six touchdowns to no picks in a 49-21 win over Long Beach. He also ran for 77 yards and another score.

He accounted for seven total touchdowns and over 500 yards of total offense as the Blue Devils punched their ticket to the Class 6A South State playoffs for the second straight season after a nine year absence.

McNeil is just freshman, but that inexperience before this season hasn’t mattered. He completed 24 of 34 passes for 248 yards and three touchdowns and added one rushing score in a 35-31 loss to Picayune last week.

The week prior, McNeil finished the night with a career-high 477 yards passing and four scores in a 28-27 loss to Hancock. Gautier ends the season Thursday night in Pascagoula.
