GAUTIER — The George County boys are off to one of their better starts to a season in recent memory after a road win over Gautier Tuesday night.
The Rebels bumped off the Gators 51-43 to move to a solid 5-1 on the young season. Gautier dropped to 2-4 overall, and had a short two game win streak snapped.




George County, meanwhile extended its win streak to five straight after a season-opening loss to Stone as L.B. Bradley tallied a game-high 21 points to lead the way. He also had eight rebounds to compiment D.J. McNair, who fresh off his time with the Rebel football team pulled down a game-high 13 boards in the winning effort. Mark Harvey chipped in 10 points for GCHS also.




For Gautier, Evan Smith scored 15 points while both Ayden Isom and Frederick Davis added 11 points apiece as the Gators placed a trio of players in double digits.
George County heads to Greene County Thursday night while Gautier also hits the road to Bay high on the same night.
