A trio of senior “Southern Six” prep basketball boys standouts have been earned one of the most prestigious pre-season annual honors in the state of Mississippi.
Max Baria of St. Stanislaus, Landon Hall of Pass Christian and Blake Nettles of Pascagoula were all named to “The Clarion Ledger’s Mississippi high school boys basketball 2025-26 Dandy Dozen” team Monday morning. The annual list is determined by conversations with media personnel, basketball recruiting reporters, recruiting rankings, observations on the court and individual success.
The trio of players have already showed why they are considered three of the top hoops stalwarts in the state already this season with some stellar showcases to start thei senior seasons.

Max Baria
St. Stanislaus | Senior
6-8 | Foward
Baria averaged a double-double with 18.2 points, 11.7 rebounds, 3.3 steals and 3.2 blocks last year and holds offers from Jones College, Itawamba College, Mississippi Gulf Coast and Southwest College.


Landon Hall
Pass Christian | Senior
6-5 | Forward
Hall averaged 19 points and six rebounds last season while holding offers from Pearl River College, Jones College and Coastal Alabama College.


Blake Nettles
Pascaoula | Senior
6-2 | Guard
Nettles, a Jackson State commit, averaged 13.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.5 steals.
