The “Southern Six” will be a bee hive of activity on prep football “National Signing Day” on Wednesday.
Quite a few senior standouts are expected to sign on the dotted line the next two days as the select their collegiate destinations.
In Gulfport, the Admirals will take time off from practicing for their upcoming Class 7A state championship contest against Tupleo and celebrate standout running back Cooper Crosby as he makes a decision between Auburn and Mississippi State.

In Picayune, Maroon Tide defensive lineman Nolan Wilson is expected to ink a scholarship with the Alabama Crimson Tide while offensive lineman Mitchell Smith seems to be headed to fellow Southeastern Conference member Vanderbilt.
In Vancleave, stalwart offensive tackle Dalton Toothman is set to ink his deal with Mississippi State on Wednesday.
In Pascagoula, on Thursday morning, stalwart defensive back Tylan Wilson will put pen to paper and sign with Texas A&M. Also, his fellow defensive back is set to choose between South Alabama, Tulane, Louisiana-Lafayette and UNLV.

Several more Panthers are slated to ink deals as well.
Ocean Springs is hosting the big party on National Signing Day, as four Greyhounds are headed to Division I programs.
Offensive lineman Jayden Ross is headed to Mississippi State, while versatile offensive standout Sharroid Whitehead it seems is headed to Wyoming. Running back Solomon Baggett will decide between Louisiana-Lafayette and Arkansas State, while offensive lineman Raymond Johnson is headed to Nicholls State.
In St. Martin on Thursday morning, defensive lineman Jayden Curtis is expected to ink his deal with Ole Miss.
And, in Biloxi, massive offensive lineman Hayden Ainsworth is expected to sign with the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

This is not in any way, shape or form a complete list of players expected to sign this week, just a list compiled by contacting local coaches.
