The sound that was the song track for many lives is coming to South Mississippi.
Originating from Gainesville, FL, Southern Rock Band Sister Hazel is made up of five skilled and experienced musicians. Their hit song “All for You” soared to the top of the adult alternative charts in the summer of 1997, driving their album to achieve platinum status.
And, for the first time ever, the band that was once called “one of the Top 100 Most Influential Independent Performers of the last 15 years” by Performing Songwriter Magazine, is coming to Ocean Springs.
“An Evening with Sister Hazel” is set for Friday, April 24th at The Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center. Tickets are already on sale at http://www.grandmagmusic.com, and will make great stocking stuffers as Christmas presents.

Fresh off their 30th anniversary tour, in addition to their biggest hit, “All for You”, The band also churned out other era-defining songs such as “Change Your Mind”, “Champagne High”, “Where did you Go” and “Your Winter” among others.
Since the success of “All for You”, the band has established itself across rock, alternative, and country genres, with multiple entries on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Known for their dedication to fans, Sister Hazel was a pioneer in the themed cruise and destination event industry with the launch of “The Rock Boat” and regularly hosts unique fan-focused events such as the “Hazelnut Hang” and “Camp Hazelnut.”
They also maintain a strong social media presence with over a million followers. Beyond their musical activities, the band is committed to charitable efforts through “Lyrics For Life,” a nonprofit founded by lead singer Ken Block, has raised over five million dollars by bringing together musicians and celebrities for concerts and auctions to support cancer research and patient care.

The band has had music featured in several movies and soundtracks over the years as well, including “The Wedding Planner”, “Major League: Back to the Minors”. “Clay Pigeons”, “Bedazzled” and “10 Thing I Hate about You”.
Also, The song “Where Do You Go” was featured on the TV show “Scrubs” (Season 6, Episode 4, “My House”) and “All For You” was featured in episode 7 of the first season of “The Way Home”.
Sister Hazel also appears on the Fleetwood Mac tribute album, Legacy: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours with their version of “Gold Dust Women”.
