BILOXI — The domination continues.
The Biloxi girls basketball team demolished arch-rival Gulfport 51-7 Friday night in Region 4-7a play at the Biloxi Sports Athletic Complex. The win moves the Lady Indians to an impressive 12-1 so far on the season, as well as a perfect 4-0 in the region race.




Biloxi was coming off a 54-6 league win over D’Iberville earlier in the week, and also registered a 47-22 victory over West Harrison and a 50-14 decision over St. Martin in region action last week.
The Lady Indians jumped out to a 14-3 lead after one period and then quickly stretched that advantage out to an almost inexplicable 32-3 total at halftime after out-scoring the Lady Admirals 18-0 in the second stanza to cruise to their second straight comfortable win in five days.
Zaniya Johnson and Na’Kenya Terry scored 11 points apiece to lead Biloxi to the win, while Jayla Carriere added 10 points and Nia Shannon nine points to the winning attack.




Biloxi held Gulfport scoreless in both the second and third quarters.
The Lady Indians stretched their win streak to 10 with the win. Biloxi has won more game to go before the Christmas breal traveling to Laurel Monday night.
Gulfport suffered just its third loss of the season, and fell to 9-3 overall and the Lady Admirals are now 2-2 in the region race.
