OCEAN SPRINGS — The Biloxi boys got back above the .500 level in Region 4-7A play Tuesday night.

The Indians slipped past home-standing Ocean Springs 48-43 here in Hubbard Gym, and Biloxi moved to 3-2 in the region race in the process and 11-5 overall.

Biloxi led 41-37 heading into the fourth and final frame, and the Greyhounds got 10 points from Chris Claunch, including a 3-pointer, down the stretch with the home team hoping to pull out a comeback win.

But the Indians made 10 free throws in the final period, including six from Kentrell Beasley, who ended up with eight points in that period, to pull out the win.

Carnellus Lenard, who also had six points down the stretch, including a trey, led BHS with 15 points, while both Beasley and Jaklyen Edwards each chipped in 14 points apiece to the winning effort.

Jeremie Packer tallied a game-high 16 points for OSHS, while Claunch added 13 points as the Greyhounds dropped to 10-7 overall and 2-3 in the region race.
