WIGGINS— Stone senior standout Jabari Moye is the “Southern Six Spotlight” sponsored by Burnham Drugs this week.

Each week of the school year, we here at SouthMiss6 Sports along with Burnham Drugs will highlight a deserving student/athlete in the “Southern Six”.

The Stone boys basketball team is still working to get back to even as far as its overall record for the current campaign is concerned.

The important part of that equation, however, is that the Tomcats are stacking up wins in Region 4-5A play in working through that process.

Stone thumped visiting Vancleave 72-43 Tuesday night to move to 3-1 in the region race and 9-12 overall.

The Tomcats got an outstanding overall effort from Moye in the win over the Bulldogs, as he poured in a game-high 34 points as well as grabbing eight rebounds, dishing out eight assists and snatching up five steals in leading the way to the comfortable win.
