HATTIESBURG — Presbyterian Christian knocked off one “Southern Six” squad in boys prep basketball action to tip the week off.
Now, the Bobcats will head South two days later in hopes of duplicating that feat on a larger platform.
PCS stopped visiting Picayune 54-47 Tuesday night. The win moves the Bobcats to 18-9 overall.

Jeremiah Marks paced Picayune with a game-high 18 points, while Addarius Fortenberry had 10 points for the Maroon Tide.
Picayune fell to 14-9 overall with the loss in its regular season finale.
Meanwhile, the Bobcats now head south to the Coast and look for a little revenge against St. Stanislaus Thursday night in a battle for the top seed in Region 8-3A.

St. Stanislaus bombed West Marion 78-37 Tuesday night to remain unbeaten in the region race at 9-0. The Rocks are also a spiffy 23-4 overall.
Rock center Max Baria dominated the Trojans all night, as he posted a double-double worksheet of 26 points and 10 rebounds, plus he had seven blocked shots. Point guard Rafael Cohen chipped in 16 points and dished out eight assists to the winning effort, while Alan Gilliam added 10 points for SSC.
The Thursday night battle is the final regular season game for both teams. St. Stanislaus slipped past PCS 48-40 a month ago in the league-opener for both teams. That is the lone blemish on the 6-1 league mark for PCS.
