D’IBERVILLE — The Ocean Springs boys basketball team knocked off St. Martin for the third time this year Tuesday night, and for the second time in five days.

The Greyhounds grounded the Yellow Jackets 53-42. in the quarterinal round of the Region 4-7A Tournament here at D’Iberville. The win clinched a berth in the upcoming Class 7A South State playoffs for OSHS, as they move to 17-10 overall and into the semifinals of the event Wednesday night against Biloxi.

Meanwhile, the season ends for St. Martin at 13-16 overall.

Oceaan Springs got a game-high 17 points out of forward Jeremie Packer, while Jayvon WWilliams ended up with 11 points, including three 3-pointers. Easton Bahr added nine points to the winning effort.

St. Martin got 16 points and six rebounds from R.J. Keys in the loss, while Markel Simmons finished with 12 points and Terrence Allen grabbed seven rebounds.
