TERRY — In this case, one out of three was just good enough for the George County boys basketball team this week.
The Rebels played three games in a five day span at the Region 3-6A Tournament here at Terry High School, and thanks to an opening round win on day one of the event George County is headed back to the Class 6A South State playoffs.

The Rebels wound up as the fourth seed after suffering two straight losses on Tuesday and then Friday in the consolation contest.
On Monday, the Rebels earned thar berth in the playoffs with an exciting 45-43 win over Jackson Forest Hill.
The Patriots started the game on a 10-0 run, but the Rebels rallied to cut the deficit to 20-18 by halftime. And even though Forest Hill stretched its advantage back out to 35-27 entering the fourth frame, GCHS got 13 points combined from junior standout L.B. Bradley and Karsyn Fairley to out-scorethe Patriots 18-8 down the stretch and pull the game out.

Bradley led the Rebels with 16 points, and Fairley chipped in 15 points to the winning effort.
On Tuesday, Jackson Jim Hill thumped George County 75-46 in the semifinal round.
Bradley poured in a game-high 29 points, while D.J .McNair had 11 rebounds for the Rebels.
Then, on Friday, Hattiesburg beat George County 64-59 in the consolation game.
Braylon Fairley had 14 for the Rebels, followed by Karsyn Fairley and Bradley with 11 points apiece.
Bradley earned First Team All-Region 4-6A honors for GCHS.
The Rebels now face powerful Pascagoula on the road next Saturday to open the playoffs.
