PASS CHRISTIAN — Pass Christian senior standout Kyran Laneaux gets the “Baria Law Firm Game Ball of the Week” this week.
Every week throughout the end of the school year, we will honor student/athletes across the “Southern Six” with our “Game Ball of the Week” sponsored by David Baria, Attorney-Mediator.
The Pirates captured their third straight Region 8-4A Tournament title last week, and Laneaux was a major reason why.

Pass pounded Forrest County AHS 68-49 Friday night at Arthur Haynes Gymnasium on the campus of Moss Point High School to capture the league title.
The win was the 20th of the season for second-year head coach Robin Sikes’ crew, which now stands a solid 20-9 overall on the season, and the Pirates will host an opening round home game Tuesday night in the Class 4A South State playoffs.
Laneaux enjoyed an impressive outing for PCHS as he posted a double-double with game-high totals of 21 points and 12 rebounds.

The Pass reached the championship contest after an 84-46 win over arch-rival Bay Highin the semifinal round three days prior.
The 6-foot-5 big man Laneaux once again led the way, producing another double-double with a career-high 35 points and 10 rebounds.
Laneaux and the Pirates host McComb Tuesday night to open the playoffs.
