BILOXI — Biloxi salvaged the final game, but St. Martin took the series in Region 4-7A action this week.

The Indians took down the Yellow Jackets 11-4 Saturday here at The Biloxi Sports Complex to take the third game. St. Martin, which won game one 11-0 on Tuesday and game two 5-2 Friday night, is now 4-2 in the region race and 9-7 overall, while it marked the first league win so far off the season for Biloxi which is now 5-12 overall and 1-8 in the region race.

Indian starting pitcher Brody Ngyuen went the distance Saturday and struck out 11 in chalking up the win.

Adam Rugg had a game-high three hits and drove in two runs for Biloxi, and Aden Vanney also had two hits and two RBIs in the winning attack. Lleyton Gunter and Evan Porter had two hits apice as well for BHS.

Caiden Griffin took the loss for St. Martin.

Noah Jenner and Jace Jones each had three hits apiece for the Yellow Jackets, while Dax Hill added two hits.

On Friday night, Jenner had two hits for St. Martin while Caleb Lawrence had a double in the win.

River Groue tossed a complete game, striking out nine in the process to earn the win.

Gunter posted two hits for Biloxi, including a solo home run, and Rugg had a double.

Meade Myers took the loss for BHS.

Biloxi takes on Harrison Central in region play next week while St. Martin takes on league-leading D’Iberville.
