GULFPORT — Ocean Springs moved to 12-0 in league play for the first time in program history Friday night.
The Greyhounds completed a three game sweep over West Harrison in Region 4-7A play Friday night with a 5-2 road win to maintain their status atop the league standings, and moved to 20-2 overall in the process.
A three-run fourth frame on Friday broke open a 2-2 deadlock and propelled OSHS on to the latest win.

Cole McNally had a key RBI-double in the decisive rally, while A.j. Rossi added a run-scoring single.
The Greyhounds managed just four hits in the game, and Rossi had half of those.
Peyton Meleady started and worked the first five innings to earn the pitching win, while Kolton French earned a save.

Both Dezi Curley and Jake Gill had a double each for the Hurricanes.
Cameron Sandel went the distance on the hill for West Harrison, and suffered the tough luck loss, scattering those four hits. He did, however, walk seven betters.

On Thursday night in game two of the series, Ocean Springs took a close 3-2 decision at home.
A two spot in the bottom of the sixth stanza broke open a 1-1 tie and sealed the win, as Adam Clower’s run-scoring ground out made it 2-1 and then another run scored on a Hauuricane error.
Johan Baez started for OSHS and went five frames to earn the win, while French earned a save in that one as well.
Hurricane starter Reese Parker allowed OSHS just four singles, but he also was saddled with a hard luck loss as he worked a complete game also striking out seven.
Parker also posted a game-high two hits, including a double, as West Harrison fell to 10-12 overall and 3-9 in the region race and 10-12 overall.
