The four playoff participants in Region 4-7A have already been decided with a week left in league play.
Also, league-leading Ocean Springs has already clinched its third straight region title and will once again be the top seed out of the loop entering the upcoming Class 7A South State playoffs next week.
However, the other three seeds will be decided this week as the top four teams in the region race face off with one another in the final week of the regular season.
First place OSHS faces second place St. Martin, and third place D’Iberville takes on fourth place Gulfport in a pair of three game match-ups this week.

Here are the current Region 4-7A standings:
(Region record/Overall)
1 Ocean Springs 15-0/23-2
2 St. Martin 11-4/16-9
3 D’Iberville 9-6/16-8
4 Gulfport 8-7/13-12
5 West Harrison 5-10/12-13
6 Biloxi 3-12/8-17

7 Harrison Central 3-15/7-19

St. Martin travels to Ocean Springs Tuesday night to open that series, while at the same time D’Iberville heads to Gulfport in game one of that affair.
The Yellow Jackets need just one win in three tries against the Greyhounds to clinch the second spot, or they just need the Admirals to beat the Warriors once to achieve that feat also.
The winner of the DHS vs. GHS series will likely earn the third seed, unless the Warriors sweep the Admirals and the Greyhounds sweep St. Martin. In that case, DHS is the second seed and SMHS would be the third seed.
St. Martin has the tie-breaker over both Gulfport and D’Iberville.

The Class 7A South State playoffs start one week from Friday, on April 24th. Region 4-7A will, as usual, match-up with Region 3-7A in the first round once again this season.

The top four seeds in that loop have also already been decided, in Northwest Rankin, Brandon, Petal and Oak Grove. However, no seeding had been set as of yet but that will be decided this week as Petal takes on Oak Grove and Northwest Rankin faces Brandon.
