Gulfport pulled into a tie for the third seed in Region 4-7A Tuesday night.
The home-standing Admirals nipped D’Iberville 4-3 with a walk-off win in the bottom of the seventh inning.
The decision leaves both Gulfport and DHS knotted up at 9-7 in the region race with two game to go. An Admiral win either Friday night or Saturday would give GHS the third seed a drop a suddenly struggling Warrior squad to the fourth seed. D’Iberville has lost six straight league games.
