Meanwhile, in Ocean Springs, the league-leading Admirals moved to 16-0 in the region race with an 11-1 win in just five frames over second place St. Martin.
The Yellow Jackets, who have the second seed sowed up, fall to 11-5 in the loop.
Patterson Gilfoil went the game-shortened distance on the mound to earn the win for OSHS, scattering two hits and striking out seven.
Tristan Fox smacked a grand slam in the bottom of the fourth for the Greyhounds to seeal the deal.
