And it all comes down to this…
That’s the situation for 11 “Southern Six” prep baseball and softball squads Monday night as they all fight to keep their respective seasons alive.
In baseball, in Class 7A Gulfport travels to Oak Grove in game three of that series after the two teams split a pair of game Thursday and Friday.

In Class 6A, Hancock hosts Hattiesburg and Picayune travels to South Jones in a pair of important game three’s.
In Class 5A, Stone heads to Sumrall for the rubber match in that three game affair.
And, in Class 4A, Poplarville hosts Newton County to decide the winner of that match-up.
Meanwhile, in Class 3A, St. Patrick travels to Pisgah for the third game in that series.

Meanwhile, in softball, in Class 7A, both D’Iberville and St. Martin are looking to take game three wins as the Lady Warriors host Brandon and the Lady Yellow Jackets head to Petal.
In Class 6A, West Jones is at Hancock in that rubber game.
In Class 5A, North Pike is at Vancleave.
In Class 4A, Choctaw Central is at Poplarville to decide the winner of that one.
