HATTIESBURG — An “elite eleven” of prep baseball senior standouts in the “Southern Six” are expected to be in action here at Wheeler Field over the next few days to wrap up their prep baseball careers.
Those 11 area stalwarts were picked to compete in the 51st annual Crossroads Diamond Club All-Star Baseball Games, one of the more prestigious all-star events in the Southeast. The six contests will take place on consecutive days starting Tuesday night here at in this Hub City on the campus of William Carey University.
First up is the largest classification game, the Class 6A/7A contest, which will kick things off Tuesday at 6 p.m. That game is the most heavily populated with “Southern Six” standouts and coaches, as eight players were honored with selection to participate.


Suiting up for the South squad in that one will be Bradyn Havard of George County, Connor Lofton of Biloxi, Cam Sandel of West Harrison, Colt Robertson of Picayune and Justin San Miguel of Ocean Springs as well as his Greyhound teammate Johan Baez, D’Iberville’s Carter Naron and Thomas Stennis of Gulfport.
On Wednesday, there will be two games, including the first Class 4A/5A contest.


In that affair, East Central’s Mason Prouty and Christian McFaul are part of thre South team as is Vancleave’s Dane McElroy.
Poplarville head coach Ashley Graeter is serving as one of the South team coaches in that affair.

The 2026 Crossroads Diamond Club D.M. Howie All-Star Baseball Games will be played on Tuesday, May 26- Friday, May 29, 2026 at Milton Wheeler Field on the campus of William Carey University in Hattiesburg, MS.
- TUESDAY, MAY 26—6A/7A Game 1: 6 PM
- WEDNESDAY, MAY 27—6A/7A Game 2: 10 AM
- Class 4A/5A — Game 1: 6 PM
- THURSDAY, MAY 28 — 4A/5A Game 2: 10 AM
- Class 1A/2A/3A — Game 1: 6 PM
- FRIDAY, MAY 29 — Class 1A/2A/3A Game 2: 10 AM
No “Southern Six” products were selected to play in the smallest classification games.
