A new weekly feature debuts here at SouthMiss6 Sports this school year with “Field Level”.
“Field Level” will be a new addition to our weekly prep sports coverage line-up each week, when we look at “7 Super Shots in the Southern 6” from the action behind the lens on the fields and courts from the previous week in a compilation of images from our award-winning staff of photo/journalists the captured recently.

SouthMiss6 Sports is comprised of eight photo/journalists and six sports writers that have more than a hundred years combined covering prep sports across the Southeast Region of the United States.

First up, our Chief Photog Bobby McDuffie started his season off at our “Game of the Week” as Gulfport traveled to Picayune.

Around the same time in Gulfport, our Deputy Chief Photog Steve Coleman nabbed this image as Poplarville played at West Harrison.

Our Joe Harper, also the official photographer for Southern Miss athletics, nabbed this image as Stone hosted Hancock.

And, our Destiny DeBuysere captured this web gem as St. Martin hosted Vancleave in an all Jackson County affair.
