It marked the second straight season that OSHS knocked off Brandon for the South State title, as the Lady Bulldogs end their campaign at 27-12 overall.

Ocean Springs then went on last year to sweep Madison Central in the state finals capturing their first crown in program history.

“We have come such a long way as a team this year,” Daigle said. “Last night was a testament to the resilience and determination they have built over the course of the season. I am incredibly proud of the fight they showed to win that game. They are hungry for another State Title, and that was on full display in their performance last night. We are excited and so grateful for the opportunity to compete on that stage again this year to defend our title.”
