After two games Thursday night, everything is settled in Region 8-4A.
Pass Christian thumped Bay High 55-7 and Greene County knocked off Forrest County AHS 35-14 to wrap up regular season action in the league. All four of these teams will now move forward into the upcoming Class 4A South State playoffs, which kick off next week.

In the Pass, the home-standing Pirates scored all 55 points in the first half to finish a perfect 10-0 overall for the first time in program history. Head coach Jeff Stockstill’s crew ended up at 4-0 in the region race, and captured their second straight Region 8-4A title.
“I’m happy for the guys, I’m happy for the school and I’m happy for the community,” Stockstill, in his fourth season leading PCHS, said. “They had some long years here before and these kids worked hard and they’ve earned this. And ‘m happy to be a part of it.’

Pirates quarterback Paris Trivillion threw for 245 yards on eight completions and three touchdowns, and he ran for one more score as well. Brandon Laneaux hauled in two scoring passes.
Pass also scored three defensive touchdowns, including two fumble returns by Konnor Burk.
Despite the loss, Bay High earns the fourth seed as the Tigers finish up 1-8 overall and 1-3 in the loop.

Pass Christian hosts Forrest next week while Bay High travels to Mendenhall.
Elsewhere, the road win in Brooklyn by Greene County clinched the second seed for the Wildcats. The Aggies end up as the third seed.
Bay High, FCAHS and Moss Point all ended up in a 3-way tie for the final two spots in the region standings. The third and fourth seeds were decided by the 12-point tiebreaker process.
