POPLARVILLE — Well…that didn’t take long.

The Hornets remain unbeaten with the win, and now stand 10-0. Veteran PHS head coach Jay Beech is in his 13th season at the helm of the Hornets, and has won almost 140 games and a state championship, but this marks just the second time in his tenure that Poplarville is 10-0.
The season comes to an end for the Trojans at 1-10.
Poplarville running backs Ty Keys and Remy Naquin each ran for three touchdowns apiece in that first half onslaught, as the home team jumped out to a quick and commanding lead and never looked back.
